We are seeking a self-motivated, driven individual capable of completing high quality appraisals of commercial real estate in a timely manner. Additionally, the individual must be career oriented and have a strong desire to advance. We are a Philadelphia-based commercial appraisal firm looking for a Certified General Appraiser. Assignments include a diverse range of properties of all sizes throughout the Tri-State area, including retail, professional, industrial and special purpose (hotels, schools, golf courses, etc.). Office based in Downtown, Philadelphia.
Skills and Qualifications:
Must be a fully licensed or certified General Appraiser, with at least 2 years proven appraisal experience in the Tri-State Area on diversified property types. Must understand the neighborhood boundaries, demographics and be competent in the marketing trends within these areas.
MAI designation a plus or a candidate seeking an MAI in the near future.
Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Argus knowledge is a plus.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for accepting, scheduling, inspecting and writing appraisal reports. You will be working directly with clients and will need to complete appraisal reports to USPAP standards as well as complete them in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
Must have strong organizational, writing and communication skills, high quality standards, attention to detail, and ability to manage assignments while meeting deadlines.
Demonstrate judgment and decision-making ability while handling multiple assignments. Must be able to complete appraisal inspections independently.
